Summer care for newborn

Asked for Female, 30 Years

Hi I am a mother of a 4 month old baby. Summer is very hot 39°C how to look after a 4 month old baby. We have only a fan no AC. Please suggest how to look after the baby in these extreme hot weather conditions.

First of all don't put too many clothings. Light coloured clothes are preferred. Continue breastfeeding every 2- 3 Hourly. You can use fan. There may be chance of nasal secretions getting dried up, so in case of nose block, you can use saline nasal drops.
