Sugar level not in contro
Mother has diabetes from last 10 years now.. Creatine is at 3.71.. She takes regular insulin 3 times a day for 6 unit. He sugar has gone down below 50 twice in last 15 days and she starts sweating a lot when this happens.. Should we reduce the insulin unit to below 6 unit OR should give insulin twice instead of thrice?

A person with CKD has delayed insulin excretion. Recheck renal parameters once again to see if there is worsening on kidney function. Secondly, you can reduce the insulin dosage marginally to prevent hypoglycemia.
