Suffering from 7 years
My mother is suffering from cough from years, in a year she will suffer for 6months approx. We have taken some medications but some time it may stop bit again it would regain after some days. We have made some tests but no problem in the reports

Asthma, GERD, post nasal drip can cause cough for long periods. Get spirometry and see a Pulmonologist

1. Since when do you have this cough ? 2. Is the cough wet or Dry ? 3. Have you ever got tested yourself for Tuberculosis - Tuberculin Test, Chest XRAY . 4. Do you have any history of Asthma or COPD? 5. Do you have any allergy problems? 6. Do you have Constipation ? 7. Do you have Acidity problems ? Hello there.  I can understand your concern.  What tests have you made? Im pretty sure you have been doing self medication and not done any tests. Or else you would have attached the reports. Because it is not possible that all tests come normal. Consult a pulmonologist in person for further evaluation and management.  Symptomatic treatment or self treatment is not recommended. Hello...... She has this problem from 7 years.. Symptomatic treatment don't help.. You must have known her condition by now... It could be copd (chronic obstructive lung disease), or asthma or any chronic respiratory diseases. Complete examination and investigation is required for diagnosis .consult pulmonologist.
