Stuffy nose and sounds
Hi Doctor,my new born who is 13 days old has a stuffy nose which seems to be bothering him a lot during nights,I'm giving 2 drops each of saline drops 5 times a day but however he still he has the problem and there is congestion like sound coming when he breathes or feeds. Could you kindly help me . Thank you

1. Please burp your child regularly after feeds before putting him/her down to sleep.
2. Procure a rubber/silicone nasal aspirator from the nearest pharmacy/baby store and use it to aspirate all the nasal secretions that are choking your baby.
3. Consult an ENT Surgeon locally to examine your baby if steps 1 & 2 fail.
