Stubborn Weight & belly fat loss
My wife is 5"4' and had a caesarian baby in 7 months at the age of 31. She was 69 kgs when she was single. During pregnancy she went up to 80 kgs. Post pregnancy, it has been 11 years, but she is 78 kgs since 11 years and has not reduced a bit. She has diabetes and no other illness. She has a proper healthy diet now but still no effect on fat or weight loss. Most of the fat is concentrated around the stomach. Otherwise she has an average body. She finds it difficult to do exercise but can do little bit yoga. Sometimes she gets let cramps. Not sure if it is due to overweight. Please advise how to lose stubborn belly fat and weight.

For losing weight in a healthy and permanent way : 1. Maintain meal gaps: maintain meal gaps of not more than 3 hours is very important. It boosts up the metabolism and helps in weight loss. 2. Include dandelion tea in your diet, consume it 2-3 times. You can buy it online easily. 3. Include seasonal fruits and vegetables in your diet in the form of smoothies and soups. 4. Walk atleast 10k steps a day. 5. Drink infused water: chop your fav fruits and herbs in water and enjoy.

Hi Diet, physical activities both go hand in hand...along with that remaining stress free is also too important for one to loose or gain weight.. Regarding diet for decreasing weight she has to consume complex carbs in low to moderate quantities and also to add moderate plant proteins than that of animal proteins , low fat dairy, toned or double toned cow's milk, slim milk, whole grain cereals, unpolished rice and pulses, omega 3 and 6 rich foods, high fiber from diet, all seasonal fruits and vegetables, dark green leafy vegetables, almonds and walnuts , figs, apricots, millets, vegetables and fruits salads..
Next Steps
cramps can be due to overweight... once the over/ excess weight comes down, automatically the cramps will go away..
Health Tips
low carbs , more of complex carbs, low gi foods, high fiber diet, low fat consumption, moderate plant protein, unstrained fruit juices,  limited portion sizes of meals, mini meals often with small meal gaps, home cooked foods, 1 teaspoon ghee in dal, lukewarm lemon water upon rising on empty stomach followed by a 45 mins brisk walk, early dinner by 7 pm, chew food well, broken wheat upma with lots of vegetables for dinner, and a gap of 2 hours between dinner and lunch mandatory..no sleeping immediately after having food, good sleep , enough rest and relaxation are also important.. healthy lifestyle modifications are also very important followed by a strict nutrient dense diet...like physical activities both morning and evening, yoga poses, meditation, pranayama, weight bearing exercises, push ups squats, take steps up down, skipping, cycling, aerobics are all very helpful for lowering excess weight.. daily good dietary regime and healthy lifestyle and stress limiting activities are all essential in reducing excess weight..

Pregnancy weight generally reduces after delivery. If it doesn’t than some extra efforts are needed. Better to do her constitution ( vaat/pit/kapha) and go accordingly. Sometimes body generates excess of heat due to that body retain water and get stubborn with fat tissues. So better to start a diet or a healthy pattern that is required by her body. Not just the things in a normal way. You might have seen who eat a lot but still slim apart from that there are people who eat less but tends to put on weight, it’s based on your body constitution and medical disorder too. She should continue a pattern as per her need not a random pattern.
