I can't see any stress fracture in this. Use ankle binder for support. If pain persists Thn u should go to another orthopedic surgeon and evaluate it properly. In normal ankle pain support will help in walking.

Its ur call sir, general physician sees all kind of patients who doesnt specialize in orthopedics. Second orthopedician sees 100 patients of Bone fracture and other things so u know better whos advise u Need to follow. Stress fracture show's hairline crack which cant be detected by family doctor or even radiologist..if u see radiologist report it mentions always clinical correlation needed..its for the same reason. Sometimes stress fracture is a clinical diagnosis and not radiological or x ray diagnosis. Thanks

trust your instincts :), yes bone healing usually takes 4-6 weeks in case of complete fracture. in your case stress fracture . you may start bearing 100% weight on or after 4th OCtober Since your Xray was done on 20th october so. if you eat a good diet. and you dont have any Metabolic diseases (which you do not have) it will approximately take 2 weeks. and you would be as good as before. Also as i can see its the tarsals. you may also buddy tape the fractured toe with normal toe and take easy baby steps so that weight bearing is not 100% but less means (no bending of toe should be there when you walk atleast till 4th october)
Next Steps
eath healthy and be careful to not to bend the fractured toe. when walking till 2 weeks time is complete. :)

You can consult an orthopaedic surgeon who did fellowship in sports medicine they can rule out correct diagnosis. If there is fracture there should be minimum bed rest for 6 - 8 weeks by severity of injury. Do not do any active movement, (re-injury also could lead to chronic problem), brace may be useful for this type of injury to heal. Apply ice pack for 10 to 15 mins in 4 sessions to get relief from pain.
