My wife has carried out MRI scan for checking of stone in Kidney. I noticed following observation in the report "A 12x2mm right distal ureteric calculus with CT No :574 HU at S3 vertebral level causing mild proximal hydroureteronephrosis" Plz explain me what is the problem?

It’s not not MRI . It’s CT scan.. it’s ok.. but going by the report it’s a large stone needs to be operated .. consult ur urologist at earliest ..so that u can avoid further kidney damage
