Stone and cyst
My mother had complaint of stomach pain and no other complaint. We did usg and result shows
Cortical cyst 2.2 cm in right kidney
Left kidney shows moderate hydronephrosis
Left kidney has stone of 0.7 cm
Please what to do. Can stone removed from medicine.

Cortical cyst may not be of much significance, but the left moderate hydronephrosis needs further evaluation. It's better to get a NCCT NonContrast CT SCAN OF KUB REGION, to start with. Ask the radiologist to mention the Hounsefield units of the calculus/calculi.
