Towards the end of pregnancy it's very common because her uterus is also preparing for delivery, baby weight pressing the colon etc etc. Take lactulose syp 15 ml at night and have plenty of water. But keep in mind that along wid constipation there is no occasional hardening of uterus. Otherwise u need to visit hospital for wellbeing of both mother and baby.

It is common in late pregnancy, due to iron and calcium supplements.
Eat fruits, veggies, high fibre food, drink 8-10 glasses water or Warm water
If doesn’t relieve , take syrup duphalac 10 mL before sleep.
Iron tablets can cause constipation sometime
1st try to take 1 sachet isabgol (safe in pregnancy) in half glass warm water in night
