Started to walk
My granddaughter 5 years old. On may 15 she fractured her leg. Doctor took x ray and said the bones have united and removed her POP on june 21. He told to walk in home with support. Today she caughty hand and walked a steps. Suddenly she twisted her foot and cried in pain. What could have happened? Would the bones got fractured again or it is a sprain. She says pain while pressing her bottom feet. When can she start walking again

Lesser chance of refracture just by a twisting injury Mostly can be sprain , but if it is progressive and localised to the site of previous fracture then better get a repeat x ray done
Next Steps
Give her rest for 3-4 days and apply ice packs

Repeat xray as newly united fractures when loaded suddenly might refracture. Better to rule out with xray
