My wife is suffering from back and neck pain. Her MRI of Cervical Spine - Screening of whole spine reveals: 1. Partial lumbarisation of S1 vertebra. 2. Posterior disc protrusion with annular tear indenting thecal sac. 3. No nerve root compression. She often suffers from fever, headache, backpain. Is it a critical condition. Can she improve with proper medication. Kindly advice.

back pain and neck pain is a comman problem. partial lumbarisation is not related to back pain. posterior disc protrusion is at what level. no nerve root compression is good it was not expected as the patient is also not having radicular pain. regular fever, headache and back pain is not good although its not critical. she should consulat a doctor for all this.
