My 20 month old doesn’t speak any meaningful word, not even mumma papa but when I sing ring around the roses he completes the last word saying down or Johny johny, he completes saying ha ha ha.
Does it considered as meaningful speech ??
Is speech is coming slowly or this is echolalia ?

hello parent, does your child show or point to you when asked , where is mumma/papa. does your child follow simple instructions given through gestures, eg- come here , give me , close door .how does he communicate , are there enough gestures or more of cries. if understanding of language is equally affected, please visit nearby developmental pediatrician.
