Dear doctor,I am a smoker, from last 3days my voice got affected and there is no any pain in throat, I ate strepcils but no change, and completely stopped smoking from last 3 days and thinking to quit smoking too.. kind advise..

You seem to be suffering from acute laryngitis which is a common type of vocal cord infection. You may need to take antibiotics, anti reflux medications along with steam inhalation for faster recovery. Voice rest is also required
