Sore throat, fever, earache, headache
I am a 16 year old female. When I eat certain food such as Fruits, Honey, Chocolate, Vinegar, Candy, Tea, Peanuts butter, Preservatives, Propel, and Tomatoes, my throat "burns" and I feel nauseous for a couple hours. I feel a coating that tastes acidic and it is uncomfortable to swallow. I have had these symptons for many many years, however, it is presenting itself more and more often and more severly. It is getting to the point where I no longer know what it feels like to eat without my throat being affected. If I burn my throat severely, I will have a solid 99.5 fever for about 5 days, a headache, an earache, a sore throat, and chills. I have already been to an allergy doctor and everything I was tested for was negative. I've also head blood work done and there was nothing out of the ordinary.

Hi..... Rest. Get plenty of sleep and rest your voice. Drink fluids. Drink plenty of water to keep the throat moist and prevent dehydration. Try comforting foods and beverage. Warm liquids — broth, caffeine-free tea or warm water with honey — and cold treats such as ice pops can soothe a sore throat. Gargle saltwater. A saltwater gargle of 1 teaspoon. Gargle the solution and then spit it out.....
