Sore arm a week after iv
I was in the hospital recently and they put an iv in my arm and it has been bruised and alot of pain for a week now and I'm starting to get concerned

Phlebitis means inflammation of a vein. .local trauma or injury to the vein. prolonged inactivity, such as, long driving or plane rides. insertion of intravenous catheters (IV) in hospitals, or IV induced phlebitis. Use a warm washcloth to apply heat to the involved area several times daily...
