SODIUM AND POTASIUM TESTS
In continuation to one of our doctors' advise, my father got checked up blood for sodium and potasium ( serum electrolytes) test. The results are SODIUM 137 AND POTASSIUM 4.1. Please let us know the further course of action to be taken to set right the above values as per norms, if not .

Hello First of all you have not mentioned the unit for the test value. I am assuming it to be mEq/L. As far as your father 's both the values are within the normal range, and that is not creating any issue.....Only if you could enlighten me on the details of your father s suffering ....will  I be able to comment specifically and help you in best possible way.   Regards Dr.Arundhati
