Slow weight gain
My baby girl has 6.5 month old.her birth weight was 3.1 kg.now her weight was 6.4 kg .is it normal? Her weight chart was as follows Birth weight : 3.1 kg 1.5 month:. 4.1 kg 2.5 month. : 4.9 kg 3.5 month. : 5.4 kg 5.5 month. :. 6.250 kg Now( 6.5 month) : 6.4 kg After 6 months only slow weight gain is happen.i am very much worried .is it ok? Pls reply dr

Babies double their birth weight by 5-6 months. So your child is doing well. I have made several posts on the same on Instagram. Go by growth charts. Yes it is completely normal...baby weight doubles by 5 to 6 months of age..at 6 months age 6.4 kg wt is normal n good..also per month weight gain is 900 gms which is good

You should start complementary feeding now .start food like dal..smashed n boiled potato .sabudana kheer..add one food subsequently

There is no need to worry .wt gain per day after birth is 30 g/ day. From 6 months weaning starts. So you need to introduce correct complementary feeds after 6 months. To know more about complementary feeding , we can connect over a video call . Thank you
