Skiping a heart beat
My mother sometimes feels that for a few seconds there was kind of skip in her heart beat.. After that she is agin normal. Please suggest what should be done in this case. And is it a serious issue.? Should I consult a doctor regarding this.?

Skipping once in awhile can be normal. But i need to know her other details for further advice. Get an ECG done and consult online directly for further evaluation and management

Hi. Feeling of skip in her heart beat may be due to rhythm abnormalities in heart, called as arrhythmia. She needs further assessment like ecg, basic blood investigation and other tests to find the cause and treatment.
