Skin whitish / bald spot / white hair
I have 1cm blad spot (where the skin is whitish compared to nearby area) with patches of white hair in my mustache. Initially treated for alopecia, but now the doctor is treating for viitligo. But no one actually confirmed that where it is vitiligo or alopaecia or any fungal infection. Should I continue the treatment or I can do any tests ? Also Lukoskin or tacrolimus ointment ?

Starting as a bald spot with white hair goes in favour of alopecia areata. Pictures will be of help. Dermoscopy can confirm your diagnosis. Consult online with pictures.

I cannot comment whether it is alopecia areta or vitiligo without seeing the patches. Please send photos using online consult option for proper examination diagnosis and treatment
