This condition is Angular Cheilitis. It's Inflammation and small cracks in one or both corners of the mouth.
Saliva collecting at the corners of the mouth can cause a build-up of microorganisms, leading to angular cheilitis. Symptoms include painful sores in one or both corners of the mouth and dry lips. People often describe a burning sensation. Fungal infection is the most common cause of angular cheilitis. It's usually caused by a type of yeast. sometimes bacteria also can cause it. Consult a Dermatologist for the same to prevent further progression of the lesions.
