Skin on hands hardening and peeling off
Hi doctor. Every seasonal change leads to the skin on my palm getting hard in a few places, not on the full palm. Then the hardened skin softens and peels off. A dermatologist I had consulted said, its due to a reaction to soaps and detergents. But then why does it happen during the time of a season change. Please advise what should I do. Should I get some tests done.

You could be having some form of allergic reaction called Keratolysis exfoliativa which aggravates due to weather and detergents. A regular use of moisturizer will be helpful.
