Skin infection on 1 year old infant
My daughter just turned one year old . Her skin has got a fungal infection & is spreading all over the body. First, it had spread from the cordial area to hand and then face, hair area and now slowly with the body. Her skin is also very dry. We had been advised to put candid b but it is healing very slowly. By the time it heals..she scratches it and again it spreads. Kindly advise if any other ointments / remedy to stop this spread and heal fastly.

Fungal infection usually doesn't spread so extensively as described. Seems like infantile eczema. Use elo vera cream, and for dry skin, apply glycerin mixed with equal amount of rose water or lime juice after giving bath,it will keep skin moist, this will help as eczema is exacerbated by dry skin. If no relief, consult paediatrician or a skin specialist.
