Skin Darkening
Hello My skin is getting darker day after day. I have been tanned very bad and the tan marks are not fading any sooner and it is still there. I have been applying sunscreen protection cream and washing myself well while bathing. My upper hand and above neck and head area is completely tanned. Can you please let me know what should I do to make myself better.

Hi... Tanning is a very common in a tropical country like ours. Also your lifestyle/work pattern/ duration of exposure to light (ultra violet rays) matter. Given that you are an IT professional , I presume you need to work with Laptop/computer for a very long time. Light from these sources along with any i4ther artificial light source can cause darkening of skin tone. Its good to know that yo are applying a sunscreen.  But the amount and frequency of application along with SPF and PA factors should be taken into account. Frquent and vigorous washing wont help and may contradictorily worsen your condition.
Next Steps
Visit a dermatologist who will be able to evaluate your skin condition and guide you. Proper and Investigations need to be done to exclude any internal problem that might be a cause . Later chemical peels can be done which will gradually help to remove the tan and also rejuvenate your skin.
Health Tips
Do not over wash yourself. Do not use scrubbers/loofah etc as this would worsen your situation.
