There are several medicines available for pimples which a dermatologist can prescribe. As for skin colour, we are all born with different coloured skin. Wanting fair skin is being unfair. However with proper treatment you can get smooth and uniform skin tone and then your skin colour won't matter. To avoid pimples, lead an active lifestyle. Avoid oily food, high protein and high calorie foods. Wash your face 2 to 3 times a day with an oil removing facewashes or benzoyl peroxide facewashes. Do not wash your face too many times. Do not repeated pluck your pimples or get procedures like a facial done. Clean your face gently with a soft towel without rubbing after you wash your face. Visit a dermatologist near you for creams/gels for your pimples. You could ask ask your dermatologist regarding chemical peels. This is a procedure for pimples and marks. It has to be done monthly once. Lastly avoid sunlight and dusty places. Warm regards. Dr. Rajdeep Mysore. Chirag Hospital Bangalore
