Skin Burning
Hi, a father of my friend having white spots on skin, they are increasing day by day. But now his skin starts burning under the sunlight. Kindly guide properly, what we need to do. Is there any permanent cure of this disease or not ?

From your description it seems like he is suffering from vitiligo. As skin looses melanin pigment patients are more likely to develop sun burns. He should use a spf 40 sunscreen when outdoors. Vitiligo is a complex disorder and needs prolonged treatment before it stabilised. Consult your dermatologist for assistance.
