I'm suffering from sinusitis and breathing problem with blocked nose, cold and production of mucus throught out the year.
Will suffer worse in cold atmosphere, in air conditioned areas.
Is use of Nasonex spray for a long time safe for us?

Take warm or hot drinks often – hot tea , hot coffee,hot Soups, hot milk.Avoid Fried/Oily foods like –Samosa, Dosa, Pakora, Papad, Namkeens, Potato Chips , Namkeens.Avoid Hotel Food, Avoid Fast food,Hamburgers, Pizza.
Do not take any COLD drinks , coldwater, ice cream, chilled food from refrigerator.Take soft foods like rice Gurrel(Khichdi), Plain daal, boiled vegetables.Avoid Chillies completely.Take plain warm water, Cocunutwater, Enerzal in warm water.Avoid Cold Milk , Meat Products ,Fried rice and noodles.Avoid Sour fruits like Citrusfruits, grapes.Avoid heavy meals, eat smallfrequent meals.
Avoid Alcoholic drinks of allkinds like Beer, Wine,whisky,vodka etc.Warm saline gargles thrice daily.Steam inhalation thrice daily.Rest for 5 days

Nasal symptoms of many problems are overlapping. What you feel as sinusitis could be due to allergy, deviated nasal septum, prolonged use of decongestant nasal drops, turbinate hypertrophy or infections.

Hello..... Nasal spray is not recommended for longer duration of period.. This nasal spray contains steroids.. Stoppage of nasal spray after long term usage can cause rebound effect like aggravating of symptoms... So better to use only for short duration.. Consult ent specialist.
