Combined oral pills like Ovral G are reasonably safe. There is no long term effect on fertility. Fertility returns in 1-2 months after stopping pills. Rarely serious side effects can occur, but that’s a risk with any medicine. It’s a good method of contraception. You can personally consult a gynaecologist for detailed discussion about your options
