I have migrain and doctor has prescribed Betacarp TR 40mg 2 times a day. I want to know if weight gain is a side effect of this medicine and if so, what's the way to counter that? I haven't started the medicine yet

Hi your medicine contains a drug called propronolol...it acts on your sympathetic system to reduce your migraine symptoms and there is no evidence of weight gain by using this drug...
