Shoulder pain for last 6 months
My mother 63 yrs old got her shoulder injured and having consistent pain then onwards. Not able to move her shoulder properly

Hot Fomentation. Gentle Shoulder Stretching. Core Strengthening Exercises. Gentle Neck Exercises. Avoid sleeping on affected side.. Warm up and cool down is a must.

Get your mother investigated properly. At this age most common injury is Rotator cuff muscles tear leading to pain, sleepless nights and weakness of arm. Get MRI done if possible. Visit www.jointcarearthroscopy.com for more information

It can be because of a number of reasons as there are many structures present in the shoulder and can get injured in any accident. It used to get convert in a frozen shoulder in such long period of time. So long term treatment is required. Consult a physiotherapist.. Ultrasonic therapy+IFT +Heating therapy +exercises(stretching as well as strengthening) will be helpful.

There can be various structures in the shoulder which can get affected because of the injury. It can be a bone,muscle,tendon or ligament injury which is causing her the pain.

Do visit a physio to know the exact cause of pain and the exercises needed to get the shoulder movements back to normal
