Shoulder pain
Due to a jerk in the shoulder I got immense pain . In mri the findings were 1. Tear of anterosuperior glenoid labrum 2. Bicipital tendinitis present 3. Evidence of trauma in superior gleno humeral ligament 4. Effusion present. Do I have to undergo any surgery?

Needs rest first of all . Shoulder immobilizer or Arm pouch for 3-4 weeks . Ice packs . After 3-4 weeks physiotherapy to strengthen muscles and to get Range of movements .

Looking at your MRI findings PRP (platelet rich plasma) can give you good relief but that can be confirmed after seeing the patient in person. We do that very regularly with very good results.
