Shoulder n upper arm pain
Hi there. My mom is having a severe problem in her upper arm and shoulder. She's having a pain in the nerves of upper arm and shoulder from last 2 months. She is consulting a doctor but there are no sign of relief. Please help me as we don't know what to do next. Thank you!

According ur mother age its symptoms of cervical  so x-ray must. Then avoid all exercises till relief. Tk calcium supplement. Tens therapy and ultrasonic therapy for few days after relief strength exercises in gradually process

Hot Fomentation. Gentle Shoulder Stretching. Core Strengthening Exercises. Gentle Neck Exercises. Avoid sleeping on affected side.. Warm up and cool down is a must. Hot fomentation.

Consult a physiotherapist for better assessment and treatment as the pain may be due to the cervical region or due to the shoulder problem.So the treatment must be done accordingly.Take a quick action.

You should take your mother to an Orthopaedic or Physiotherapist for an evaluation. Pain in the arm could be due to the neck too apart from being a shoulder issue. An early evaluation will clarify this.

Hi. Your mom should visit a good physio nearby,  to get proper diagnosed,  peri- arthritis or any cervical radiculopaties, Get proper treatment and stay healthy Tc

She needs clinical assessment by Orthopaedic Surgeon to evaluate for shoulder peri arthritis if any or else then needs physiotherapy. If other problem may need further evaluation.

Your mom should consult a nearby physiotherapist to assess her shoulders range restriction and painful movements.. That would give the therapist a rough idea of the injury or strain occurred in the shoulder.. Physio will definitely help her relieve that pain..
