Shoulder dislocation
Hello, I met with an accident 4 years ago and injured my shoulder at the moment (seemed to be dislocated) but after some time was all fine. but since then i have dislocated thrice and evrytime it gets back into postion by itself(sublaxation from what i have googled). how to i rectify this problem?

Hi, the history you give is consistent with a recurrent dislocation or subluxation of the shoulder. Recurrent dislocation can be traumatic as in your case or atraumatic(not due to injury). Traumatic dislocations will need surgery in order to prevent recurrence. There are various types of surgery which will depend on the injury,MRI and /or ct scan findings and physical examination by the Orthopedic surgeon. Please consult an orthopedic surgeon
