Short cervix,low placenta
My friend is 18 weeks pregnant, and has gone for anamoly scan at a diagnostic centre. She was told by the ultrasonologist that she has a low lying placenta, the placenta is anterior touching the os and cervical length is 2.4 cm. He told her that its a mattr of concern .. she has taken appointment with gynaec to show the report . The appointment is after few days...as this is her first pregnancy she is very worried. Please mention what treatment and precautions are usually given by gyneacologists for such these two issues..for first pregnancy for lady in mid twenties.

THERE IS NO TREATMENT REQUIRED AS THE PLACENTA ON ITS OWN WILL GO UP AS THE UTERUS GROWS. DONT PANIC AS IT S A QUITE NORMAL THING
