Having intercourse during menstrual cycle increases the chances of endometriosis. Pregnancy will not occur ! But it is better to avoid during menstrual period.

during menstrual cycle  14 days are safe in 28 day cycle, 7 days before and 7 days after the periods counting from first day of cycle. But sex should be avoided during the menstrual cycle as this leads to retrograde  blood flow from uterine cavity to pelvis through Fallopian tube leading to Endometriosis.
