Severe tooth ache due to decay
I have severe toothache since a week, tried piroxicam , etoricoxib and tramadol without any relief. Started moxclav yesterday,, tomorrow I am going to see dentist and take the tooth out if possible. Only relief I get is by keeping ice cold water in mouth. When water loses coolness, pain is unbearable. Can I suggest any painkiller so that I can sleep tonight ?

hello, you need to visit a dentist and get it checked. if there is infection to root of the tooth, you need to get it treated. then get a crown placed over it. if it cannot be saved, then you need to get it removed.

Usually painkillers provide relief only till the time they last in your body!!you definetely have acute pulpitis and can even think about getting a root canal done if you want to save the tooth! Try having ibuprofen or a voveron SR!
