What you are describing here seems to fit the picture of Pharyngitis or Tonsillitis which could be Viral (most likely) or bacterial. You can take lukewarm water and avoid cold and sour things. Warm milk with turmeric will help. If it doesn't resolve in 3-4 days visit a Homoeopathic doctor.
