Severe migraine headache
I have migraine since last 6 years. My mother also has it. I took Alopathy treatment for that from some neuro surgeon for 4 months. But that treatment caused increase in weight by 6 kgs and memory loss problems. My headache lasts for whole day. And there is no specific area of pain. Sometimes it pains in the back skull, sometimes front forehead, or top of my skull or throbbing pain the veins under the hair near eye's. If it becomes unberable I take 1 Vasograin tab. I feel relieved. But headache again starts next day. It has become a daily problem now... Please tell me how do I get rid of this now...

Headache is one of the most frequent neurological symptom but migraine is due to raised intracranial pressure and may be accompanied or preceded by vomiting. It may be severe and one sided. Usually migraine causes episodes of severe or moderate headache (which is often one-sided and pulsating) lasting from several hours to three days, accompanied by gastrointestinal upsets, such as nausea and vomiting, and a heightened sensitivity to bright lights (photophobia) and noise (phonophobia). Many of the victims of migraine get solace and solution through homoeopathy. Homeopaths consider these cases as chronic ailments. Homoeopathy is a system of medicine, which treats patients based on the symptoms, physical and mental constitution, heredity, past history of disease or suffering, modalities, generalities, miasm and others. Homoeopaths normally precribe Belladonna, Bryonia alba, Calcarea carbonica, Cocculus, Gelsemium, Gloninum, Iris versicolor, Lachesis, Natrum muriaticum, Nux vomica, Phosphurus, Pulsatilla, Sulphur, Usnea barbata, etc.

It seems that your nature somewhat resembles with your mother as your mother also have this. First of all , your life history, emotional factors, behavior should be discussed in detail. One need to find out what things trigger your headaches & how do you interact at home with your family members, your friends & so on. To find out what is eating you from inside which works as catalyst in triggering your headaches. Then appropriate homeopathic medicine could be selected to treat you as well as your mother. It may be possible that along with homeopathic medicines, you & your mother may need counseling. Thanks
