Severe Itching in Groin and Legs
Sir, i have been suffering from severe itching in my groin area and some portions of legs since october last. I went to a physician who prescribed Onabet Cream , Anzin Tab, Terbest Tab and washing with Ketogold soap. I used the tablets for two weeks each and soap, cream for two months. The problem reduced a lt but didn't vanish altogether. But now it has recurred since a month. What to do now?

You may be suffering from tinea cruris which is fungal infection of the thighs and genital area. It can be treated by taking four to six weeks of anti fungal treatment which includes tablets along with creams. Do not use soap over that area. Mistreatment with over the counter Steroid containing creams lead to repeated cases of recurrence and also side effects due to applications Do not use steroid containing combination creams.
