From the last 16 months i have suffered with severe dense of eye floaters.my eyes are good but i can’t cope with this floaters. they are irritating me always such that i have thoughts of death. I went so many eye hospitals and hormones hospitals to reduce my anxiety .but of no use. for me only option 1) viteractomy . but no doctor wanted to do that as it includes several risks .this is crucial stage of my life . but i need clarification whether anyone in india is doing viteractomy for floaters or not.

Hi dear, vitrectomy is really a high risk procedure. We do it as a last option. It has many more complications which will bother u much more than these floaters... Your vision will drop, cataract may develop, eye pain, irritation etc . I too have floaters since 6 years but I don't even remember them. Just ignore them n they will disappear.. Just forget about it.. Trust me nothing will bother u further..

Hello dear...vitrectomy has many complications...u may get cataract after surgery for that u will require another surgery and glasses....floaters are very small and insignificant problem ...vitrectomy will increasr problem...try to understand...
M younger than u but having flaoters for last 10 yrs...i have adapted myself...u can also do...just ignore floaters and concentrate on ur work
Are you high myopic ?
Are you suffering from ocular inflammation ?
Did you have ocular injury in past ?
Are you diabetic ?
If answer of all them no , nothing to bother. Just ignore them as we are ignoring Pakistan as you can change history but not geography .
It is geography of body you have no control.
