Severe back and leg pain

My grandmother is suffering from a very severe pain in back and leg from past 1 year. Her pain increases when she moves . She's having problem for doing everything(like walking) because of that pain.This pain is increasing from past few months. Is there are any solution doctors for get releive from that pain ?
