Sensorineural hearing loss
My baby when he was 5 months old his Anterior Fontanelle got bumped against door of the car.He cried badly at that time but within a few minutes he stopped crying. We didn't visit the doctor. There wasn't any swelling or inflammation on that area but his anterior fontanelle closed around 3.75 years old. Now at the age of 5 years it is discovered that there is 70% sensorineural hearing loss in one ear and 95% hearing loss in another. Is it quite possible that blow to anterior fontanelle has caused his sensorineural hearing issue ?.. or there could be other reasons.
