Apply candid mouth paint 3 times a day for 5 days. If problem persists or worsens in spite of this visit your physician. Drink lots of fluids. Most probably this is due to medications taken during the illness.

this usually happens after u have fever. does that white coating cause u burning sensation? do u smoke or chew tobacco??? there are a lot of things that need to be checked. based on your height and weight, you don't seem to be nutritionally compromised. but still i atleast can not be sure of your diagnosis without examining you clinically
Next Steps
visit a dentist

it might be because of some deposits, or fungal infection. But you should get it checked clinically by an oral pathologist because without seeing clinically its difficult to say about anything.

Dear Practo User, A photograph of the affected area would have been very helpful in reaching a diagnosis. As per the features mentioned by you, it looks like you have fungal infection of tongue. Kindly visit a dentist nearby for thorough investigation. Regards, Dr Ankit Jain Arham Dental Care
