Recently Answered Questions on Rizatriptan

I am having Epilepsy and Migraine headache from 8 years now. Off lately my headache has started lasting for a week or two. I am taking AED; Divalpro 500 mg once daily and also Rizatriptan 10mg sometimes for the headache. From a few months, Rizatriptan isn't reducing my headaches. Please advice.

I am suffering from migraine for 15 yrs. I have been talking Rizatriptan benzoate - 5mg at every two days intervals as a pain killer since last 5 yrs. Is it harmful? What is the hazard?

Every time i have my periods after 22-23 of each month, this time its been more then 2 weeks periods are not coming, many of the time i felt periods like pain but it wasn't periods, last month i had taken migraine Medicine- rizatriptan 4-5 times also. I am worried about why my periods are not coming yet.

I am suffering from migraine. One side headache. 15 days in a month frequency. Constipation is the problem also. I take Rizatriptan benzoate - 5mg at every two days intervals since 5 yrs . Urine frequency increases after taking this drug. Pain in left Thai & left leg also is the side effect of this drug. Will it be harmful?? No other drug can kill my pain now days. I seek solution.

I have had a headache with nausea for 2 weeks. I have tried everything from ibuprofen, excedrin, allergy medicine, rest, and even going to the doctors and getting a toradol shot. The head ache isn't the worst one I have ever had it just won't go away. Rizatriptan Benzoate 10 mg worked temporarily, but by the time I wake up in the morning my headache is back. It is on the right side of my head and it makes me feel out of it and all I want is to sleep. I do have hyopactive thyroid.

My sister’s breath smells like vanilla (on and off). I’m not sure I would describe it as fruity smelling. She’s 30 years old. She takes Seroquel, Prozac, Xanax, Lamictal, Spirinolactone, Nexium, Topamax, Probiotic, birth control, and rizatriptan (as needed). She has chronic migraines. Her blood pressure is usually 90/60 and she has fainted on occasion (not necessarily in relation to this).

I have been having a severe headache for about 5-6 days now that comes in waves (I have chronic migraines but even my Rizatriptan wont help these), as well as ear pain and sinus pain with congestion. I have had an on and off low grade fever, and have been extremely tired, fatigued and dizzy. I have also been extremely sore in all of my body, but mostly my neck, back and shoulders. I have been having some nausea (not vomiting though) and poor appetite since this has started as well.
