I am abroad for 10 days and have left my Ramipril (5mg) at home. I feel well, but am a little concerned as I do not take my High Blood Pressure tablets. I am in Switzerland at the moment, what should I do.

Dear DR Please guide How tapering is done for Ramipril as I take Ramipril 5 mg & Ecosprin 75 once a day for high blood pressure with no other cardiac problem ,  from last 5 - 6 years & my Avg blood pressure remains on 130 - 135 till next dose.I stop taking ecosprin 75 a  week ago as guided by  Respected  Dr  after arising side effects Skin rashes . Now how I can taper Ramipril as I listen after age of 65 it also causes side effects .can tapering is required at this reading of BP Thanking you With regards

Hello Doctor, My mother is having diabetes since 5 years . She is going to the same doctor for check up since then but now the doctor changed and he also changed the medicines . Earlier she used to take - metformin 2000mg, pregabalin, mecobalmine (she has leg pains ),gilmepride and ramipril Now prescribed ones - Metformin 2000mg, atrovstatin, pioglitazone 30mg , natrilix and ramipril My mother's HbA1c is 6.5 .
