I have heartburn symptoms and nausea so I am taking oflin o tab, I had online consultation on practo and I was told to do stool analysis .... Should I do both stool analysis and stool culture? Can I take the antibiotic before the sample collection?

I am experiencing very bad stomach ache,heart burn symptoms, burning sensation after defeacation and this is some 4-5th time I have got it in the past 1.5 yrs. I got treated for this with nexpro rd 40 and oflin o, Symptoms subside but again after a few months I keep getting the same symptoms so without consulting the doctor I take the same medicine and symptoms subside, This time also I have got the same symptoms and I have started taking the antibiotic and I actually want to get a stool analysis, can I give the sample while taking the antibiotic or should I stop taking it and then give? Please tell me

I'm an 19 yrs female. Two yrs back following proximal stricture in right ureter, stent was implanted and on review after two months,stent was removed. Recently, I'm finding intermittent obstruction in flow of urine with incomplete emptiness of bladder. Recent RE & CS of urine do not show any growth. X'Ray and ultrasound of abdomen do not show any inconsistency in abdomen. But, I'm feeling the flow of urine is interrupted and bladder is not emptying fully. No other associated symptom such as fever, chills, nausea exixts. Local Physician suspects hidden UTI and prescribed "Oflin" which I am taking......but no improvement...................Kindly help me out to decide further treatment........Regards,

Hi I had UTI last month. It was severe so doctor did Dj stenting and antibiotics iv and medicines. After one month ultrasound report and urine culture. Reports came fine there was no aerobic growth and doctor removed dj stentu and gave oflin 200 antibiotic for 5 days till last week Now sometimes i passed urine i can see small white traces floating. Is this sign of infection or because of antibiotics I'm passing white traces/ tissues in urine. I'm really worried. Please help

I have digestive problems like partially loose motion, frequent stool passing, inflammatory sensation while passing stool, gas accumulation, fingers shake, tiredness, sharp knee pain etc. In past 6-7 months I have been meeting a proven Gastroenterologist and a Dietitian. Almost every test like Duodenoscopy, Colonoscopy, Breath test for bacterial overgrowth, Thyroid function, Stool, Whole abdomen city scan, chest x-ray, Bone mineral density, vitamin b12, Thyroid antibodies, Antigliadin IGG, IGA, Food Intolerance, TB gamma interferon, ESR, C-reactive protein, liver function tests (multiple times), HTTG/DGP Screen, 25- Hydroxyvitamin D have been performed. The TB test and Lipoprotein A test showed positive results. All other test results are more or less normal. For TB my doctor has written me 2 tablets- Mycobutol and Oflin and 1 injection Streptomycin as the 3rd and 4th components- Solonex and Rifampicin didn't suit my LFT. IS THE INJECTION BEST WAY TO ERADICATE MY SMALL TB INFECTION?

I am a student and I eat out at hotel.I have  gas problem since 2 years.Initially the symptoms were less and subsided by just ppi but gradually symptoms went on increasing like heart burn, burning in my stomach,chest,lower back and waist,frequent hunger,bitter mouth,passing out excess gas, abdominal cramping,urge to poo,anal itching, nausea,burping,etc. I consulted a gastro and did upper gi endoscopy,abdomen ultrasound,everything was normal and he gave me antibiotic oflin O and bandy plus, sonata powder and nexpro rd 40 mg.I felt relieved with this and now after 6-7 months same issue and it's severe like anything.I also have asthma and I am allergic and I take ketasma,can it be eosinophilic gastritis? I don't understand what is the problem, because of this I am not able to concentrate on studies and I just feel like lying down. Please help me out doctor, suggest me some permanent solution for this,It's turned chronic,is it a underlying disease or because of my poor eating habits?
