I take one tablet of Istamet 1000 mg daily for past three years nd my sugar levels are under control. In September 2015 fbs was 90 nd ppbs was 155. Can I know the after effect of long term use of Istamet 1000mg.

Gestational Diabetes is diabetes developed during pregnancy.a gter pregnancy gestational diabetes concerted to type 2 diabetes. She took insulin for 3 years , after consulting doctor they have give Istamet 50/1000 tablet and she is using since more than 1 years.
