Hello , I beg to state that I'm a 25 years old male suffering from GERD for last 3 years. 1.5 year ago , I was also diagnosed with Class A Esophagitis and was told to take Pantocid DSR twice daily. Recently , one local doctor suggested me to discontinue Domperidone as it has many side-effects and that there are other better alternatives but I'm fearful of it's withdrawal symptoms. I have anxiety disorder and I've come to know that suddenly discontinuing drugs like Domperidone can produce negetive effects. Can I discontinue Domperidone suddenly or shoulder I taper off gradually ? Please guide me through. My daily dosage of Domperidone has been (30+30) for last 1.5 years ( Approx ). Many many thanks in advance.

Hello, I'm 32years old male suffering from GERD from last 1 year. I'm taking Rabium DSR(which is combination of 20mg rabeprazole & 30mg domperidone) twice a day from last 1 year. Recently got to know there are adverse side affect of domperidone also there are Widthdrawal symptoms of domperidone which is drastic. Shall I taper domperidone or stop it? An will there is any Widthdrawal symptoms? My dose is 30mg+30mg a day of domperidone consecutive from last 1 year Also I Have GERD which is not completely resolve shall I switch to plan rabeprazole 20mg  Please help??

How long after taking domperidone will a female lactate... should the baby be given any formula feeds till then.

My baby is 4weeks old and due to less milk production doctor had prescribed tab domperidone tid and cap lactare is there any side effects to baby by domperidone because doctor has prescribed 40tab domperidone

I have been prescribed domperidone by my doctor for increasing breastmilk.How long can I continue with the medicine. Also I have been breastfeeding for the past 3 months.Will this medicine help me at this stage as I gave birth to twins and they seem to be fussy after ever feed. I have been using formula at times. I want to stop now,I've have heard there are many withdrawal symptoms of domperidone for people who consume for long time, also we need to taper it slowly,what should I do?
