Doctor suggested Carvedilol tablets to my father for High Bp...He is allergic to dust. so can he take this medicine and can a asthmatic patient take this medicine?

I have had chestpain for a long time. I went to the hospital and I had an echo and Ecg done. The doctor said that I had narrow arteries. But lately the chestpain has got worse and I'm always weak and dizzy. I have been taking Carvedilol and Aceclofenac but I'm not getting any relief. Do I need to change Medication? Please help me..

My father is suffering from cld .Endoscopy test on July 2023 show my father has esophageal varices of gradeIII*2 and a  evl done in July 2023.currently he is on carvedilol 3.125 twice from last 5 months .is it ok. moreover he has no history of vomit blood till date.

I have stage three hypertension and have been put on a new beta blocker, carvedilol. It's been about two months and my blood pressure is still 150/110ish. I mean, sometimes it's a little better, but not much. I've been out of work for a while and I just can't afford to go back to the doctor. Please give me some advice. My father (60years) got diagnosed week back with heart failure reduced ejection fraction class_ III, absolute iron deficiency, dilated cardiac myopathy, moderate LV DYSFUNCTION, type 2 diabetes mellitus, hypertension. Now he is on treatment with valsartan,torsemide,carvedilol,atorvastatin with clopidogrel,neurokind,insulin. Please suggest me any other treatment if needed.

Hi, My father was diagnosed as dilated cardiomyopathy 5 years back and his EF was 42 percent. Of late, when the Echo was done may be it's 40 percent. He had some symptoms earlier coughing, fatigue but now now.. Just sometimes while sleeping he gets shortness of breath .. I know this is a common symptom .. My question is.. Can we change from Carvedilol to Bisoprolol . Can we see some improvement ? Also, changing from repace 50mg twice a day to valsartan would help in any way ? Is there a lot of side effects in taking Valsartan ?
