Which syrup is better for cough in adults? Have kind of wet cough with occasional yellow sputum. Which one is recommended?

Dear Sir / Mam, My 3.5 yrs old daughter is suffering from extreme cough so much so that her paediatrician has prescribed Ventryl LS, Nebulisation with Budecort and duolin , omnacortil Forte syrup and Codistar syrup to her . Her coughing is controlled by Codistar only since past two days and there r no signs of improvement. Please advice what should I do ?
