My father is having Advance glaucoma in the right eye with an IOP 54 OD and 30 OS...he is taking brimonidine + timolol eye drops twice a day... Please suggest me best treatment available to reduce the progression of the disease and reversal of vision loss.. Thank you

An eye doc diagnosed my dad with glaucoma before he had a cataract surgery done. After the surgery his eye pressure rose to above 30mm which made sense because he was on steriods. I have acne. I was prescribed Erythego for redness on face. I've read that brimonidine( erythego's major constituent) has more negative effects than good ones, like rebound flushing and severe redness and burning of skin. Should I still go ahead with it? Does it help with the reduction in facial redness? Do I have to be worried about it's major side effects?

My daughter 12 year old has glaucoma in right eye for which she is on medications viz latanoprost, brimonidine and opthalmic beta blocker since past 6-7 years .Offlate I am noticing she sweats more than usual while on moderate dance like simple dance.Cannthis be side effects of beta blocker? Or any thing else to be checked?

I am instilled latanoprost and brimonidine with timolol in both eyes IOP 20/20. Two month back trab in Rt eye PGIMER Chandigarh before Surgery my Distance vision 6/6 after surgery iop 12 without any Gluecoma drops.but Distance vision is poor. Please advised me and guide me. Is he overdosed and allergic?

I have applied the below specified medication. 1)clerome ( clindamycin phosphate gel U. S. P) 2) Topmetro gel ( Metronidazole gel USP 0.75%) above two mixed and applied from 8 pm to 10 pm 3)Erythego( Brimonidine Topical gel 0.33%) at night now the problem is I have small granular pimple and allergy and little irritation in face. Should I continue the medication or stop it? Now I have allergy all over my face. Should continue or stop the medication

Dear Sir. I am patient of POAG. Both eyes CDR 0.8,0.9.and OCT RNFL Badly Damaged left eye, Right eye is also damaged but some optic nerve left. I am taking Treatment in PGIMER CHANDIGARH since 3yrs. I am instilling Latanoprost HS in both eyes and brimonidine with timolol BD in both eyes last 3yrs. Also used  Laser Treatment {SLT} 2015 in both eyes.Now  IOP is 18/18. Sir 2 months back my Right eye Trabeculactomy done IN PGIMER CHANDIGARH. After surgery my IOP is 12 without instilling any Medicines.Before Surgery my Right eyes  Distance vision is 6/6 without glasses but after surgery my Right eyes vision is very poor. I am unable to see clear. My operating Surgeon not explained anything me. I am afraid my vision is not clear. only see double images and light sensitivity. Now I am using Moxifloxacin BD, Betnesol BD and Refresh Tears 4 times a day. 65 days is gone but my vision not come. Please advising and guide me. With Greetings and warm regards. I'm a 21 year old female with eye problems and I think I'm having a severe adverse reaction to my medications. A few months ago I was diagnosed with uveitis and put on prednisolone drops. After a months of those, I got really high eye pressure and was taken on off prednisolone drops. Currently I'm taking bromfenac brinzolamide/brimonidine drops as prescribed. It's been a week since I'm taking these drops, and ever since I started taking them, I've been feeling terrible. I'm extremely tired, I feel feverish with very cold hands and feet, severe headaches, I have chills, low appetite and generally feel unwell. However, I don't have a cough or runny nose or any other respiratory infection signs. I did a red blood cell count on myself using blood from my fingertip and got 2.5 million cells/microliter, which is rather low. A rare side effect of these eye drops I'm currently on is bone marrow suppression, and i think I have that. My eye pressure is fine now. Can I stop taking the drops?

Dear Sir Parnam. सर मुझे 3 साल से दोनों आँखों में POAG है CDR दोनों आँखों की 0.8,0.9 है मेरा इलाज PGIMER CHANDIGARH में 3 साल से चल रहा है में दोनों आँखों में LATANOPROST के साथ BRIMONIDINE +TIMOLOL डाल रहा हूँ दोनों आँखों मेँ लेज़र (SLT) 2015 में हुई थी IOP 20/20 है. 2 महीने पहले मेरी RIGHT EYE की TRABECULACTOMY हुई है. सर्जरी के बाद मेरा IOP 12 है बिना किसी GLUCOMA DRUGS के.  सर्जरी से पहले मेरा Distance Vision 6/6 बिना चश्मे के था लेकिन सर्जरी के बाद इससे साफ दिखाई नही देता है इस बारे में मेरी सर्जरी करने वाले डॉक्टर मुझे कुछ भी बताने को तैयार नही है सिर्फ FOLLOW UP के लिए बुलाते रहते हैं.में जानना चाहता हूँ की क्या मेरा VISION वापस आयेगा. मुझे क्लियर दिखाई देने में कितना समय और लगेगा. में इस समय MOXIFLOXACIN और BETNESOL BD डाल रहा हूँ साथ मे LUBREX 4 TIMES डाल रहा हूँ.  में बहुत अधिक परेशान हूँ. आप मुझे सलाह देने की किरपा करें मेरा मार्गदर्शन करें. धन्यवाद सहित. अतर सिंह
